Shanti, Shanti, Shanti

In the place and time where I grew up, the thinking was that any religious group who chanted belonged to the lunatic fringe. Now that I'm older, I know that chanting is a time-honoured practice in many established religions. Here's a link to some Theravadin Buddhist chanting.
