It is meant to be installed as a screen on web pages to prevent spam, but it's unlike the usual system ("type in the letters that you see in front of you"). According to its creator, it "is a new system for human-checking that forgoes all the useless random string crap that people cannot read, and replaces the whole lot with pictures of cute animals."
